Tinsel & Treasures has successfully raised more than $3.9 million dollars that have been invested in the Lafayette community through community programs benefiting women and children in Lafayette and to provide financial support for the Junior League of Lafayette and its Mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Tinsel & Treasures, which was introduced in 1994, has been a premier social and economic event for the Junior League of Lafayette and the community. This event, which is our largest Junior League fundraiser, requires the participation of all active and provisional Junior League members. But the help of our Sustainers through the years has also been crucial to its success.

Occurring at the end of September each year, Tinsel & Treasures gives shoppers a truly one-stop-shopping experience. Shoppers have the opportunity to shop for all their holiday needs early and under one roof. The categories of boutique-like shops include those that specialize in jewelry, food gifts, toys, home dcor, apparel and much more!
