It's time to catch up on some of the "good news" that the 2016 Frog Festival Committee has in store for the Rayne Frog Festival May 11-14, 2016. First, the admission fee of $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 yrs and under will remain the same. A waltz and jitterbug contest will also be held. Carnival Family Nights will again be Wednesday and Thursday with wristband specials. NEW events will be a "Frog Leg Etiquette Eating Contest"; Frog Cook-off, and working on an Accordian and Fiddle Contest. Grand Parade will be on Saturday before noon; Arts & Crafts booths will be on the festival grounds instead of the Civic Center (sponsored by Rayne Beautification Board); still working on the band line-up; now taking food vendor applications. Keep watching this page, we'll post up-dates more frequently as final decisions are being made by the Committee.
