This festival has something for all ages. Opening ceremonies are Friday at 5pm and at that time the large carnival, food booths and arts and craft booths are open for business! There are live bands each night with a street dance, games, contests, corn cooking contest, children's parade, corn shucking contest and corn eating contest! There is also a tennis and softball tournament. The family friendly atmosphere makes the Louisiana Corn Festival a must do for people looking for a fun weekend! All proceeds of the festival are put back into the festival, its grounds and projects throughout the city. So follow the rows of corn down to Bunkie, where you are sure to have a corn shucking good time!!
