New this year will be a BBQ Shrimp Contest on Friday night, only $20 entry fee and chance to win up to $500. Contact Kathy at the CVB for more information!

On Saturday cooks from all over the South compete for top Barbeque honors at this BCA State Championship BBQ. Teams compete for $6600 in prize money, awards, trophies and certificates. BBQ entry fee is $150.00 (4 categories) with a chance of winning as much as $2000.00. Cash prizes up to 8th place in each category. Want to be a judge and eat some great BBQ at the same time. Contact the WBRCVB to volunteer. Click on BBQ Entry form for more information or to participate. Saturday Big River Express Band will be playing times 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm

On Sunday come and enjoy great 50's, 60's & 70's music, hula hoop, jitterbug and twist contests. Foret Tradition on stage from 11 am to 2 pm then Rewind will be performing from 2:30 - 5:30 pm. Antique car show rounds out this two day event. This fun event is held on the grounds of the West Baton Rouge Tourist Information & Conference Center.

Enjoy music all day both days. Come and spend the weekend with us and enjoy great food, great fun and great music. The fun starts at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. each day.
