Description: | Notes for Education Northshore presents the 2nd Annual Slidell Jazz & Blues Festival, to be held May 28, 2016, from 12pm to 10pm in Slidell's Heritage Park. The festival will feature local Jazz & Blues acts to be announced. Admission is $10 for ages 12+, under 12, free. The mission of the Slidell Jazz and Blues Festival is to promote and support Jazz & Blues in Southeastern Louisiana and the cultural, musical, and artistic enrichment of the Northshore community. Funds generated will support a local program called Notes For Education Northshore, which supports local music education and/or provides music grants or scholarships to local young musicians. | ||
