| Description: | From 41st Annual Mayfest Website: Mayfest, winner of the Louey Award for 2012 Festival of the Year, is an annual event held in historic downtown Leesville on the first weekend in May -- this year it will be held on May 6th & May 7th, 2016. Vendors from all over Louisiana and surrounding states offer home-made items and food made from scratch. Bring your lawn chairs and join us on the courthouse lawn for two free days of family fun offering live music, vendors, demonstrating artists, childen's activities, and more.
