| Description: | From West Louisiana Forestry Festival Website: The West La. Forestry Festival is held annually during the first full week of October and features rides and shows by The Mighty Thomas Carnival.
Also during the week, the festival offers the following events: West La. Forestry Festival Queen Pageant, 4-H Horse Show, 4-H Woodsman Skills Contest, West La. Forestry Festival Junior King/Queen Pageant, 4-H Livestock Show, Vernon Parish Senior Citizens Day, and the Leesville Lions Club Rodeo.
The festival features also offers food from eight local service organizations, exhibits, and vendors.
