The NatchitochesNSU Folk Festival will be held July 14 & 15th, 2017. Over 200 musicians & craftspeople present Louisiana's folk traditions. Held in airconditioned Prather Coliseum, this event is dedicated to preserving folk culture. In conjunction with the Folk Festival the LA State Fiddle Championship will be held on July 15, 2017 from 12:004:00pm in Magale Recital Hall. The theme is "Keeping Tradition Alive".
