On Saturday, October 28, 2017, Grand Coteau, LA will hold its 6th Annual Sweet Dough Pie Festival.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m on the green grounds of St. Charles Catholic Church. The event will celebrate the unique culture and history of Grand Coteau and will include a sweet dough pie contest, guest speakers, arts and crafts vendors and music.

Much planning has gone into this event and we have established a foundation, The Grand Coteau Cultural Foundation to serve as the overseeing body. The mission of the foundation is to promote the awareness of our unique culture, history and spiritual foundation.

Our hope is that the foundation will serve many purposes including being able to issue grants to area organizations to further enhance quality of life and economic development in our beloved town.

We are currently seeking corporate sponsors, arts and crafts vendors and sweet dough pie contest contestants for this event. We would sincerely appreciate any support that you could give me for this very worthwhile cause.
